This policy explains what information L.R. Claims & Consulting collects through helponclaims.com, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe how the website actually works.

L.R. Claims & Consulting is a licensed California public adjusting firm (CA License #6015606) operating the website helponclaims.com. We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information you give us

If you submit a consultation request or intake form on this website, we collect the information you enter. Depending on which form you use, that can include:

Your name, phone number, and email address
The property address involved in the claim, and the property type
Details about the loss — type of damage, cause, date and time of loss, and your description of what happened
Insurance details you choose to provide — insurance company, policy number, claim number, and whether a claim has been filed
Claim status information — whether an adjuster has contacted or inspected, the adjuster's name and contact details, whether a payment has been received and its amount, and whether repairs have been made
Whether you have photos or receipts, your preferred contact time, your preferred language, and how you heard about us
Anything else you choose to write in the free-text fields

You provide this information voluntarily. You do not have to give us claim details to call us instead.

3. Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, some information is collected automatically:

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors arrive at the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
Technical and security data. Our hosting provider and our intake function process your IP address to deliver pages and to limit abusive or automated submissions. For this abuse protection, our intake function stores only a salted, truncated cryptographic hash of the IP address, not the address itself.
Form submission details. Our consultation request form, client intake form, and partner referral form are handled by our hosting provider's form service. When you submit one of these forms, that service stores your submission together with technical information it records, such as your IP address, browser details, and the page the form was sent from. This information is stored as recorded, not as a hash.
Submission records. Each intake submission is given an identifier so that a retry does not create a duplicate record or a duplicate contract.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Service providers who process your information

We are a small firm and we use established service providers to run the website and handle intake. These providers process your information on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies:

Netlify — website hosting, form submission handling (including storing the forms you submit and the technical information described in section 3), and the storage used for duplicate and abuse protection.
Google — Google Analytics for website analytics, and Gmail for sending and receiving the email generated by your submission.
SignWell — electronic signature service used to send and store the engagement agreement, if you proceed.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, by court order, or by a regulator, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting or ad-network pixels on this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to use this site or to submit a form.

7. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide our services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and the reason we hold it.

Form submissions stored by our hosting provider's form service, including the technical information recorded with them, may be kept in that service until we delete them or the provider removes them under its own practices. When a submission is deleted, it is removed from our form records, but our service providers may keep logs, backups, or other records for a period under their own policies, and we cannot guarantee that every such copy is erased at the same time.

8. How we protect information

Information submitted through this website is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse, and we limit access to people involved in handling your matter. Form submissions can be viewed by our authorized staff through our hosting provider's account and, where configured, through email notifications sent to our office. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, request that we delete or correct personal information we hold about you, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 12. We will ask for enough information to verify who you are before we act on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

10. Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the tools we use change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
